A Westmoreland County jury on Tuesday gave Michael Travaglia the death penalty for his conviction in a 25-year-old murder.

This was Travaglia's second sentencing hearing. His original death sentence was overturned on appeal.

Travaglia and John Lesko were found guilty of killing Apollo police officer Leonard Miller in January 1980. The murder capped a weeklong rampage in which three other people were killed.

The deaths were dubbed "Kill For Thrill" locally because police said there seemed to be no motive.

Lesko is also on death row.
