POSTED: 11:09 pm EDT June 26, 2005

At least seven people were transported to local hospitals with heat-related illnesses during the Jimmy Buffett show at PNC Park Sunday.

Officials said in addition to the seven, more than a dozen other people were treated at PNC Park for a variety of injuries and heat-related illnesses.

As of late Sunday night, none of the injuries or illnesses appeared to be serious.

Additional ambulances were called into Pittsburgh from surrounding communities to assist Pittsburgh Emergency Medical Service crews.

Temperatures in Pittsburgh climbed into the low 90s on Sunday and are expected to be near 90 degrees on Monday.
