According to search warrant inventories, police found a bank payment book with the maiden name of Dr. Gulam Moonda's wife, Donna, inside a sport utility vehicle which Damian A. Bradford is believed to drive.

Also on the payment book is Thomas Kase, a name listed as the owner of the SUV, police say.

Removed from Bradford's Center Township apartment were three towels with "suspected bio stain," according to the inventories. Without elaborating, police said tests will be necessary to identify the stain.

In an affidavit of probable cause for the search, police said they were looking for evidence of a sexual or financial relationship between Donna Moonda and Bradford.

Both Bradford's mother and a police informant claim Bradford is romantically involved with Donna Moonda. Police call him a "person of interest" in the case, but he has not been charged.

Dr. Moonda, 65, of Hermitage, was robbed and shot during a May 13 road trip. Donna Moonda was also in the car but escaped unharmed.

An unknown assailant approached the Moondas' Jaguar and demanded money while the couple and Donna Moonda's mother were pulled over for a short break, according to the official police report. Dr. Moonda handed over his wallet but was shot anyway.

Donna Moonda, 46, has been unavailable for comment. Though no charges have been filed against her, she has retained Cleveland defense attorney Niki Schwartz.

Bradford, 23, is being held in the Beaver County Jail on misdemeanor drug-related charges and a parole violation. The charges are not connected to the Moonda case.
