2005 PITTSBURGH -- Upper McArdle Roadway in Mount Washington was closed for several hours because of a landslide on Wednesday afternoon. Debris from the slide blocked traffic in both directions between Grandview Avenue and the Liberty Bridge and Tunnel.McArdle reopened in time for the Wednesday evening rush.The road will be closed between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Thursday so any loose dirt and rocks remaining on the hillside can be knocked down.
