For the second time in the span of a month, a landslide in Greenfield forced people out of their homes, but they were allowed to return one night later.

Mud and branches slid down a hillside in the 3700 block of Beechwood Boulevard on Monday night.

Residents of three houses on the block had to evacuate because a leaning telephone pole was causing concern that electrical wires could fall.

They returned home early Tuesday evening.
