2004 Nonprofit and other organizations holding Texas Hold'em poker tournaments that are being advertised in local newspapers are not legal under Pennsylvania law, according to state police.The operation of a Texas Hold'em poker tournament constitutes unlawful gambling, police said.Authorities also report that several companies are advertising the set-up and operation of the tournament and are requesting nonprofit groups to contact them.
