SouthSide Works Opens With Dining, Shopping, MoviesPOSTED: 7:17 am EDT September 17, 2004 PITTSBURGH -- A new attraction on an old site officially opened Friday on Pittsburgh's South Side.  SouthSide Works includes clothing stores, restaurants, loft apartments, a movie theater, parks, a town square and a bank. Pictures: See What's In SouthSide WorksThe complex is built on the former site of a steel mill, between 26th and Hot Metal streets.Restaurants include Hot Metal Grille and The Cheesecake Factory.Shops include Z Gallerie.
