Man Claims He Was Injured On Antique Car RideLawsuit Seeks $25,000 In DamagesUPDATED: 11:47 am EDT July 22, 2004 SANDUSKY, Ohio -- An Ohio man is suing over injuries he said he received on a ride at Cedar Point amusement park. Joseph Bassett Jr., of Toledo, filed a lawsuit in Erie County Common Please Court last week seeking $25,000 in damages. He said that he suffered back and spine injuries on the antique car ride. Bassett said he was riding in a car on July 26 when it was struck in the rear by an antique car driven by a child. He claims to have $35,000 in medical expenses. According to the lawsuit, Bassett also said he suffered "physical and emotional pain, loss of wages and an impairment of his earning capacity." Distributed by Internet Broadcasting.
