An Ohio man is suing over injuries he said he received on a ride at Cedar Point amusement park.

Joseph Bassett Jr., of Toledo, filed a lawsuit in Erie County Common Please Court last week seeking $25,000 in damages.

He said that he suffered back and spine injuries on the antique car ride.

Bassett said he was riding in a car on July 26 when it was struck in the rear by an antique car driven by a child.

He claims to have $35,000 in medical expenses.

According to the lawsuit, Bassett also said he suffered "physical and emotional pain, loss of wages and an impairment of his earning capacity."
