I-279 Crash Kills Teen Woman

An 18-year-old woman died in a two-vehicle accident on Interstate 279 in Ohio Township, Channel 4's Jon Greiner reported Monday night.

Stephanie Albert, of Butler, lost control of her pickup truck while heading northbound, then crossed the centerline and hit a truck driven by Leslie Green, state police said.

Green and three passengers were not injured.

The crash happened just south of where the Parkway North meets Interstate 79. Southbound parkway traffic was stopped for more than two hours.
