Mayor's Budget Cutting Plan Includes Pools

The impact of the city budget crisis hits home today when some pools and recreation centers close.

Earlier this week, Mayor Tom Murphy announced the layoffs and closings during a press conference. A total of 27 pools are being shut down and the doors at 19 recreation centers will close.
