Talks Continue Between Pittsburgh Brewing, CityWater Authority Wants Brewery To Pay UpPOSTED: 1:49 p.m. EDT July 18, 2003 PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh Brewing Co., the maker of Iron City and I.C. Light beers, has agreed to submit a payment plan for roughly $2 million in city Water and Sewer Authority bills.
The authority had been seeking to shut off the company's water, but both sides sat down Friday for what was said to be a productive discussion.
In December, the company won an injunction blocking the authority's termination notice. Both sides agreed to work toward a settlement.
The water authority will review Pittsburgh Brewing's proposed payment plan and decide whether it's acceptable. Copyright 2003 by ThePittsburghChannel. All rights reserved. This material may not be published, broadcast, rewritten or redistributed. | Pictures In The NewsWTAE-TV Pittsburgh on Facebook
