Carpet Ignites Sending Flames Into Second Floor

PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Police arson squad is investigating a fire at an apartment building and bike shop in Mt. Washington Thursday.
Flames broke out inside the building on Wyoming Street at about 3:30 a.m.Reports said that the fire ignited some carpeting in the first floor bike shop, sending flames up the walls of the structure and into the second floor residences.Everyone inside the building managed to escape. No injuries were reported.
