Tractor-Trailer Strikes, Kills Man At Rts. 66, 28

Fatal Accident Under Investigation In Rayburn Township

A pedestrian was struck by a FedEx tractor-trailer and died late Tuesday night in Rayburn Township, Armstrong County.

State police said Gordon Solley Jr., 47, was trying to cross at routes 66 and 28 when he was struck.




Solley was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was not hurt.

Police are still investigating. No charges have been filed.
