Council members in Monroeville unanimously passed a resolution Wednesday night in support of the Demi Brae Cuccia Bill, named for the teen killed in October 2007.

The bill would mandate teen dating violence education be taught in all Pennsylvania school districts.

"I would think it's a no-brainer that this education needs to be taught," said Cuccia's father, Gary. "The problem that comes into play is who is going to teach it? How is it going to be taught? Or, what organizations will teach it?"

The Cuccia bill goes to Harrisburg for a vote by the Pennsylvania House of Representatives on Wednesday.

In June, John Mullarkey was found guilty of first-degree murder in the young girl's death.
