2009 PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh police said a chase that started in Beltzhoover ended peacefully after the drive got stuck in McKinley park.Channel 4 Action News' Bob Mayo reported at an officer spotted a GMC Sierra blocking a street at Asteroid Way and Manton Way shortly after 4:30 p.m. Friday.The officer ran the vehicle's information and learned that the plate had been revoked due to lack of insurance, Mayo reported.Police said the driver took off and two police vehicles pursued him at speeds not greater than 25 miles per hour.Officers told Mayo the driver ran a few stop signs before his car got stuck on a dirt and gravel path in the woods of McKinley Park, where the driver surrendered.The driver, 58-year-old Samuel Wright, faces charges of fleeing and eluding and driving without registration.
