Apartment Burns In Mount Oliver

Flames Start Just Before Midnight On Penn Avenue

Fire investigators are looking into what they describe as a small fire in a Mount Oliver apartment building early Monday morning.

The fire started just before midnight in some trash in a basement apartment at a building in the 100 block of Penn Avenue.

Emergency crews were able to quickly to put out the flames.

No one was hurt in the fire. There's no word on how much damage was done by the flames.
