2009 SOUTH STRABANE TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- Former vice presidential candidate and Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin stopped in Washington County on Saturday, touring for her new book, "Going Rogue."About 1,000 fans waited in line overnight outside the Sam’s Club in South Strabane Township, where the doors opened at 7 a.m."We are all about the country and what's right for the country and doing the right thing, and we feel it's on the wrong path right now," said Laura Hough, of Daisytown. "She's a good spokesperson for us and I really like her idea of going rogue because we need somebody to shake up the system."Washington County was Palin's first stop after being named Sen. John McCain's running mate in 2008. A year later, she still connects with residents here."We have the opportunity to meet someone who is very unique to this country, who has energized this country, who has basically spoken for the people of what the people actually are," said Mark Haislup, of Moon.
