3 Men To Stand Trial For Beltzhoover Porch Shooting Death

PITTSBURGH -- Three suspects in the homicide of a Beltzhoover man will stand trial in connection with his shooting death.

Joseph Gainer, Aaron Phillips and Andrew James Phillips are charged in the death of A.J. Bock.

Bock, 30, was sitting on his front porch in the 300 block of Beltzhoover Avenue early on the morning of Oct. 18 when he was shot in the neck. Bock was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said the three men approached Bock and some friends, demanding to be let into the house.

Before they could get in, Bock was shot and killed.
