Man Shot In Head Outside McDonald's Restaurant

Police Respond To Hoffman Boulevard In West Mifflin

One man was taken to the hospital after he was shot in the head in the parking lot of a McDonald's restaurant late Tuesday night in West Mifflin.


Police said the victim was shot shortly after 11:30 p.m. in the parking lot in the 2300 block of Hoffman Boulevard, directly across from Kennywood Park.

The shooting victim was taken to UPMC Mercy Hospital.

The name of the man and his condition were not released.

Police remained at the crime scene for about an hour and half, looking for evidence.

Police have not made any arrests and continue to investigate a motive for the shooting.
