Football code words were used to place orders for cocaine in an alleged drug ring that operated in Monroeville and Sharpsburg, according to Attorney General Tom Corbett.

"For example, customers who wanted seven grams of cocaine asked for a Ben Roethlisberger jersey or Michael Vick jersey because both wear the number 7," Corbett said at the Monroeville Police Department on Monday, as he announced charges against 13 people.

Among the suspects is Julius Lamar Robinson, a 29-year-old McKees Rocks man whom Corbett identified as the leader of the alleged drug operation and an alleged member of the Race Street Crips gang in Pittsburgh's Homewood neighborhood.

The grand jury found that Robinson used his former apartment in Fox Hill in Monroeville for the majority of the alleged drug sales and as a place to process powder cocaine into crack, Corbett said.

Antonio Lemar Henderson, a 23-year-old Sharpsburg man, was also named in the investigation as a Race Street Crip and a main associate of Robinson involved with finding street-level customers, Corbett said.

Seven people were arrested and arraigned Monday in District Judge Jeffrey Herbst's office on Old Haymaker Road. Police are still looking for the other six suspects.

The suspects were identified by Corbett's office as:

  • Robinson: Charged with delivery of cocaine, possession with intent to deliver, corrupt organizations and criminal conspiracy
