WAYNE TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- A Lawrence County home was destroyed by fire early Sunday morning.
Fire crews were called to the 400 block of Zikeli Lane in Wayne Township shortly after midnight.
According to the Wayne Township Fire Chief, a man and woman were asleep inside the old farmhouse when the fire started and managed to escape without being injured.
However the two-story home burned to the ground and the couple lost everything they owned.
State police are investigating what may have caused the fire.
