Bicyclist Killed In Butler County Hit And Run

Emergency Crews Called To Scene On Zeigler Avenue

One person was killed following a hit and run in Butler County.

Butler City police identified the victim as 21-year-old Jayson Cramer.

According to police, Cramer was riding a bicycle in the 300 block of Zeigler Avenue in the city of Butler, when he was struck and killed by a car.

Two people were in the car that stuck and killed Cramer.

Police have identified one person in the car as 29-year-old Patrick Duncan. Channel 4 Action News has learned the second person is female, but police have not released her identity or said which person was driving.

Both fled the scene and were later detained by police.

The car was located on Protzman Road at about 11 p.m.

According to police, the car was heavily damaged and still had the bicycle wedged beneath it.

Butler City police is working to learn more circumstances surrounding the incident
