Pedestrian Struck, Killed In North Huntingdon

Victim Killed While Walking Along Route 30

Police are investigating a fatal pedestrian accident along Route 30 in North Huntingdon Township.

Shortly before 6 p.m. Friday, a vehicle struck a pedestrian in the area of Carpenters Lane, police said.

North Huntingdon Township police released the identity of the victim on Sunday as Jalaluddin Wasim, 33, of McKeesport.

The accident remains under investigation.
