2009 WEST HOMESTEAD, Pa. -- Four people were injured when the car they were driving knocked over a utility pole and then slammed into a garage in West Homestead.Crews responded to the 400 block of West 8th Avenue shortly before 3 a.m. Monday.Channel 4 Action News learned the car was travelling inbound on West 8th Avenue when it came around a bend and struck a utility pole. The car then slammed head-on into a garage.Crews on scene said that four people were transported to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, one in critical condition.The names of the injured people are not known at this time but Channel 4 Action News' Ari Hait reported all the victims were males in their mid-20s.Investigators are working to determine the circumstances of the crash.
