Killer Who Hid Body At Penn Hills Plant Pleads For Lesser TermNew Kensington's Shaun Raisor Avoids Possible Life Sentence In PrisonPOSTED: 5:18 pm EDT October 29, 2009 PITTSBURGH -- A New Kensington man has avoided a possible life prison sentence by pleading guilty to third-degree murder in a love-triangle death in exchange for a 25- to 50-year prison sentence.Shaun Raisor, 23, admitted Thursday to stabbing Bryan Akers, 21, of Etna, and hiding his body under concrete and debris at a former cement plant in June 2008.Raisor also lit Akers' truck on fire and then walked home, police said at the time of his arrest.The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office said Akers suffered head and neck wounds. He was found dead behind the Atlas Cement Plant on Universal Road in Penn Hills.Raisor pleaded guilty to the murder charge, along with charges of arson, abusing a corpse and tampering with evidence.Prosecutors say Raisor stabbed Akers because the two were involved with the same woman.
