2009 CORAOPOLIS, Pa. -- Twenty-eight drug suspects were targeted in a law enforcement sweep through Coraopolis, Moon and McKees Rocks on Thursday morning.The suspects were described as mostly street-level dealers by Coraopolis Police Chief Alan DeRusso, who said the investigation started in the summer.Seventeen of the 28 suspects have been taken into custody by local police and agents from the Allegheny County District Attorney's Office. Most were arraigned at District Judge Mary Murray's office.Warrants were still being served on the remaining 11 suspects late Thursday morning. Names of the suspects were not immediately available."We have an aggressive approach towards this in this town, and we're going to continue to do this through the district attorney's office. We're going to be able to do this and we're just going to keep at it," DeRusso said.
