State police in the Kiski Valley said they've found a man who failed to return home to New Alexandria from work in the Greensburg Area overnight.

Joseph Edward Walters Jr., 25, was due to return home from work between midnight and 1 a.m. but never arrived. Walters' family was concerned because he suffers from diabetes and without his medication, he could become confused.

On Wednesday morning, police said Walters was found safe. According to police reports, Walters told them he was on his way home from work and his blood sugar was low. Feeling tired, he pulled over to sleep. When he awoke, he called his wife, who called police.
