WTAE Channel 4 Action News reported that the man went missing around 12:45 p.m.

Police Chief Brian Brown said that Powers' family was concerned about him, and that he may have run out of the house into the nearby woods when police responded to the home.

Powers is described as a white man of Korean descent, and his hair is currently much longer than it is in a picture Brown showed to Channel 4 Action News.

Searchers are gathering at a staging area on Camp Meeting Road, near the Allegheny-Beaver county line. Their foot search also includes dogs and quads.

Police said Powers does not have any special needs that would cause them to be concerned.

No other details of his disappearance were immediately released.

Anyone in the Bell Acres or Economy areas who sees Powers is asked to call police.
