PITTSBURGH -- George Sodini's blog and YouTube videos reveal more about the man who police say shot and killed three women, wounded nine others and took his own life inside a crowded aerobics room at the Collier Township LA Fitness this week.
The videos were posted on YouTube a year ago and are a personal look at Sodini's lonely lifestyle, which the 48-year-old Scott Township man also discusses at length in his personal blog.
"It is easy for me to hide from my emotions for one more day. Take a long drive in the car, listen to some music, daydream, or just do some mundane task around the house that really doesn't need to be done, that's not too important. And there you go, one more day. And one more day turns into one more year," Sodini said in one of the videos.
Sodini goes on to talk about an unnamed woman -- or possibly, women in general -- saying, "My objective is to be real and to learn to be emotional and to, you know, to be able to emotionally connect to people, because when I'm 10 to 20 years older than she is, you know, she has to feel good about this thing," he says.
Watch The YouTube Video - "Hide From Emotion"Another video on the same YouTube channel takes viewers on a tour of what Sodini said is his house.
"Couch and chair, they match. Women will really be impressed," Sodini said as the camera pans around the living room.
At one point in the video, the camera closes in on what Sodini describes as "reading material that we're all familiar with," including a book titled "Date Young Women."
Watch The YouTube Video - "How George Pittsburgh Lives"In another video called "The Right Attitude Workshop Intro Part 1" -- which has since been removed from YouTube -- author Don Steele is seen telling men how to find the woman of their dreams. Sodini is one of the men at the seminar.
"Nice guy must die. I would say that's the problem with most guys in this room. You're too nice. Women don't like that. They don't respect it," Steele says in the video.
After listening to Steele's talk, the men practiced introducing themselves to women. Sodini is seen shaking a woman's hand and saying, "I'm George from Pittsburgh."

Watch Team 4's Recording Of The Removed YouTube VideoAlong with the YouTube videos, police said an online blog attributed to Sodini contains a detailed timeline of what appears to be his plot for a mass shooting.
"Planned to do this in the summer but figure to stick around to see the election outcome. This particular one got so much attention and I was just curious," Sodini wrote in a blog posting dated Nov. 5, 2008.
The blog also lists Sodini's age as 48, as well as his birth and death date, Aug. 4, 2009, the day of the shooting.
Sodini's blog has sometimes been unavailable on the Internet since the shooting occurred.

WARNING - graphic language. Many of Sodini's blog postings contain graphic language and mention his unhappiness at not having a girlfriend.
"Women just don't like me. There are 30 million desirable women in the US (my estimate) and I cannot find one," Sodini writes in a posting dated May 18 of this year.
A note about a woman he met at LA Fitness is hidden from public view in the blog, but it can be seen by viewing the Web page's source code.
"To get a friend like her (and for night time action) I would cancel this plan, or put on hold, at least for a while," the hidden note said.
"He's had the hatred in him. He blames everybody, his mother and everything else, society," Allegheny County police Superintendent Charles Moffatt said at a Wednesday news conference.
ABC News spoke with the co-owner of Salon Iaomo on Greentree Road, where co-owner Roberta Kozel said Sodini would visit a couple of times each week for 15-minute tanning sessions.
"He didn’t seem like a violent person. He seemed like the typical class nerd," Kozel said. "He was a little odd but you could never figure out what it was. Maybe it was shyness, I’m not sure. He just reminded me of the class nerd.”
Kozel said that Sodini asked one of the salon’s receptionists out last week.
“She didn’t take him seriously," Kozel said. "He always joked with her and it was just a casual ‘do you want to get coffee?' sort of thing. He was a real nervous nelly.”
The blog has postings dated up until Aug. 3, at which point Sodini writes "tomorrow is the big day."
"Unfortunately I talked to my neighbor today, who is very positive and upbeat. I need to remain focused and absorbed COMPLETELY. Last time I tried this, in January, I chickened out. Lets see how this new approach works," Sodini wrote in the same posting.
In the blog, Sodini says he was worth about $250,000 and feared he would soon lose his job at Pittsburgh law firm K&L Gates after having survived an earlier round of layoffs.
"I took off today, Monday, and tomorrow to practice my routine and make sure it is well polished. I need to work out every detail, there is only one shot," the blog said.
In a statement, the law firm confirmed that Sodini worked in its finance department and said, "K&L Gates is deeply saddened by last night's events, and offers its condolences to the families and friends of all who were involved in this terrible tragedy."
Sodini's blog also includes many references to Tetelestai Church, which he regularly attended on Pierson Run Road in Plum.
Tetelestai is a Greek word that, when translated, means "it is finished" -- purportedly the last words Jesus Christ said before he died. The church's Web site says it exists for advancing of the faith of the Gospel to those who are without God in this world and without hope.
A post dated Dec. 31, 2008, on Sodini's blog says "this guy" -- meaning the church's pastor -- "teaches (and convinced me) you can commit mass murder then still go to heaven. Ask him." It goes on to say, "In any case, guilt and fear kept me there 13 long years until Nov 2006. I think his crap did the most damage."
Later, a post dated Aug. 3 -- the day before the shooting -- says, "Maybe soon, I will see God and Jesus. At least that is what I was told. Eternal life does NOT depend on works. If it did, we will all be in hell. Christ paid for EVERY sin, so how can I or you be judged BY GOD for a sin when the penalty was ALREADY paid. People judge but that does not matter. I was reading the Bible and The Integrity of God beginning yesterday, because soon I will see them."
Neighbors told WTAE Channel 4 Action News reporter Jon Greiner that the pastor -- Alan Knapp, of Oakmont -- is a "good guy" who went to local police on Wednesday to complain about the comments.
"Pastors and people in the ministry talk about forgiveness, and people sometimes with mental histories misconstrue that type of information. I think that's probably the farthest thing from the truth and it's distorted," Oakmont police Chief David DiSanti said.
Team 4 investigator Paul Van Osdol reported that a deacon, Jack Rickard, helped get Sodini kicked out of the church for harassing a woman.

Team 4's Report: George Sodini Was Kicked Out Of ChurchSodini refers to the woman in his blog when he says he never had any girlfriends except "Pam." However, Rickard told Team 4 that Sodini "had in his mind that she was in love with him and they were having an affair. Nothing could be further from the truth."
Rickard said he called state police, and a trooper called Sodini and told him to behave himself. No arrests were made, but Rickard and other church leaders were so concerned that they asked Sodini to leave.
Another Web site -- CrazyGeorge.com -- includes
a lengthy questionnaire with questions that include, "Have you ever been in love?" The response was, "Hell yea, lots of times, I am still single so obviously nothing ever worked out." Rickard said Sodini also posted about Pam in the password-protected section of the site, where Sodini said his darker side was hidden.
Police are checking to see "if somebody was monitoring that blog, but we have no indication that they were," Moffatt said. "Maybe if they could have called the police, there may have been intervention. But there's nobody that could have physically stopped that last night."
Neighbors said Sodini, who lived on Orchard Spring Road, was not friendly with area residents.
"He was just sort of somebody you saw around in the neighborhood. He wasn't very, what I would say, an outgoing person who would come over and start talking with you," said Candy Gettys, who lives in the area.
"It's very shocking to have somebody who lives right across the street from you who would do something like that. You know, those poor girls in that class and that instructor who was pregnant. I mean, this is just heartbreaking for those families," Gettys said.
