Pittsburgh Police Chief Called To Active DutyMcNeilly Activated By Coast GuardPOSTED: 11:23 a.m. EST March 7, 2003 PITTSBURGH -- Robert McNeilly Jr., the City of Pittsburgh's chief of police, will report for active duty with the U.S. Coast Guard on Monday.
This is the second time that McNeilly has been called to active duty in the last two years. The other time was in September 2001.
A Marine from 1970-72, McNeilly has been a reservist since 1987.
