POSTED: 4:30 pm EDT July 31, 2009

Downtown Pittsburgh's newest skyscraper is open at Fifth Avenue and Market Street.

Three PNC Plaza has 326,000 square feet of office space, plus condominiums on the upper floors. There will also be a 185-room Fairmont Hotel.

At 23 floors, it's the city's tallest structure since the 32-story EQT Plaza -- formerly known as Dominion Tower -- opened in 1987 on Liberty Avenue.
