Water Main Break Floods Sutersville Homes

Homes Damaged In Westmoreland Co.

An early-morning water main break left a mess for some Westmoreland County homeowners on Tuesday.

A water main break in Sutersville flooded homes along Violet Street.

Emergency officials said the water main broke near Violet Street in Sutersville.

Several homes were flooded by the break, with damage mainly contained to the basement.

Westmoreland Water crews are working to fix the problem.

Channel 4 Action News' Amber Nicotra reported the break doesn't appear to be affecting traffic in the area.
