Elderly Man Missing From McKeesport Care Home

Jack Anderson Last Seen Wednesday Morning

McKeesport police are asking for help to find a missing 85-year-old man.

Jack Anderson walked away from a personal care home on Union Avenue at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday and hasn't been seen since, police said.

Anderson is black, 5 feet 8 inches tall and 150 pounds, with gray hair and a gray goatee. He was last seen wearing a beige sweater, a beige/pink/white striped polo shirt, beige pants and black diabetic-style shoes with Velcro straps.

Anderson walks with a cane and has an extensive medical history that includes insulin-dependent diabetes, police said.

He is known to frequent libraries and likes to shop at Macy's, police said.

Anyone who has seen Anderson is asked to call Detective Sgt. James Reed at 412-675-5015.
