Three people escape a house fire in Washington County.
Eric Williams woke up to flames inside the house on Railroad Street in Chartiers Township. Williams worked to get his cousin and his girlfriend outside.

"I had to run around the side of the house to get my girlfriend out the side window because she couldn't get out through the house because the flames were too hot," Williams said. "There was a lot of fire and smoke. So, I just pulled her out the side window."

The woman who was rescued was treated for smoke inhalation. The homeowner said fire investigators believe an electrical problem sparked the fire.
