Fireworks Accident Sets House On Fire, Hospitalizes Man

Burned Mercer County Man Flown To UPMC In Pittsburgh

A man who burned himself and set a house on fire in a fireworks accident was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital on July Fourth, Mercer County authorities told WTAE Channel 4 Action News.

Authorities said the fireworks exploded in the man's hands at a house in the 4800 block of Ann Lane in Hermitage at about 10:30 p.m.

The unidentified man remained hospitalized Sunday in critical condition.
