Women in Rochester, Beaver County, are being told to stay on the lookout for a man peeping into bedrooms at night.

"It makes me nervous because we're such a small community and we have our windows open all the time and all the while we're changing our clothes, it's scary," said resident Trish Camp.

Rochester police said residents have spotted the same man peering into houses late at night at least six times since April.

"He's looking in, watching people while they're sleeping, and in more than one instance, we believe he entered the house," said Sam Piccinini, of the Rochester Police Department.

Police believe the man targets woman that he suspects are alone.

"They have young children also which is even a greater concern. They actually have teenage children, also females living in the residents," said Piccinini.

Police said each incident occurred between 11 p.m. and 2 a.m., all happening within a three-block radius.

"It kind of makes you wonder who it is and why they would be doing that?" said resident Leann Miller.
