1 Dead, 2 Hurt In Separate Indiana Co. Crashes

Driver Killed After Being Thrown From Truck

Two separate crashes in Indiana County left one man dead and hurt two other people on Monday night.

The first crash happened in Green Township.

The county coroner said 35-year-old Jodi Ferrier was killed when his pickup truck hit a utility pole and a tree on Fir Road around 9 p.m..

Ferrier was ejected from the truck through the rear window and was pronounced dead at the scene.

A female passenger in the truck suffered minor injuries.

Police said speed may have been a factor in the crash.'

A second collision happened around 11 p.m. in Indiana Borough.

A man driving a motorcycle was in a crash on Sixth Street.

The driver was airlifted to a hospital. Currently there's no word on his condition.
