Blown Tire Responsible For Truck Driver's Death

Man Killed In Route 66 Crash In Delmont, Westmoreland County

A blown tire caused a driver to lose control of a dump truck and flip over a hillside off Route 66 in Delmont, Westmoreland County, on Tuesday evening.

The driver, James Deem, 68, was pinned in the cab for an extended period of time. He was eventually flown by helicopter to a nearby hospital, where he died.
