Mr. Mike's Pub and Pizza in Irwin, Westmoreland County, was cited Tuesday for allegedly violating Pennsylvania's smoking law, the Clean Indoor Air Act.

The restaurant in Irwin Plaza on Route 30 was cited because smoking was permitted in a public place on April 24, according to the state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement.

An administrative law judge will hear the charges.

Penalties could include fines or a loss or suspension of the establishment's liquor license, depending on the judge's ruling.
