Woman Struck, Killed By Car In Somerset County

Car Leaves Road, Hits 76-Year-Old

State police said a woman who was hit by a car in Somerset County on Sunday has died.

Investigators said 76-year-old Annie Gindlesperger was walking along Route 30 near Locust Street in Jennerstown when a car drifted off the roadway around 3 p.m. in the afternoon.

Gindlesperger was pronounced dead on the scene.

State police have not filed any charges against the driver, 28-year-old Robert Hantz.
