A posh western Pennsylvania resort that has hosted former presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush will accommodate at least some of the 19 world leaders who will attend the G-20 economic summit.

Chris Plummer, assistant general manager of Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in Farmington, said the resort is hosting an unspecified number of summit participants. The resort about 35 miles south of Pittsburgh was founded by 84 Lumber magnate Joe Hardy and, at one time, hosted its own PGA Tour event, the 84 Lumber Classic

"We deal with a variety of groups every year that require specific security measurers that this group, the G20, is going to require. Our experience from hosting presidents, to large events like the PGA Tour and 84 Lumber Classic that was here, our experience -- we are very well versed in the security options they need

"We have a lot of things going on at the resort, and when you're here it's kind of like your own personal paradise," said Plummer.

President Barack Obama chose Pittsburgh as the site for the G-20's next summit on Sept. 24-25.

All 335 rooms, suites, townhouses and private homes are listed as sold out for Sept. 22-25.

About 3,500 international delegates and journalists are expected at the summit.

Regular security sweeps and closing entrances are just some of the requests being made by those staying at the resort.

"We deal with a variety of groups every year that require specific security measurers that this group, the G20, is going to require. Our experience from hosting presidents, to large events like the PGA Tour and 84 Lumber Classic that was here -- our experience -- we are very well versed in the security options they need," said Plummer.

Seven Springs Mountain Resort in Westmoreland County will also host attendees and has been receiving similar security requests.

The city of Pittsburgh launched a new Web site on Tuesday, offering residents the chance to share their ideas for the summit.
