Man Flown From New Castle CrashPickup Truck Broadsides Car In Lawrence CountyPOSTED: 10:34 pm EDT June 15, 2009 NEW CASTLE, Pa. -- Firefighters cut an unconscious driver from his car Monday after a crash in New Castle.The unidentified man was flown to an area hospital with unknown injuries. The unidentified driver of a pickup truck also involved in the collision was taken to Jameson Hospital with unknown injuries.According to emergency officials, the pickup truck broadsided the car on Butler Avenue in the early afternoon, seriously damaging the front ends of both vehicles.The incident remained under investigation.
