2009 PITTSBURGH -- An 18-year-old Pitcairn man accused of pushing a juvenile and stealing his bicycle has been found, thanks to a tip from a Comcast viewer.Police said Dale Eugene Ramey was wanted after failing to appear in court on robbery, simple assault and harassment charges stemming from the February bicycle incident.According to police, Ramey told the boy he stole his bike because "he was too cold to walk home."Wednesday, police received a tip from a Comcast viewer that Ramey had left Pittsburgh and was staying with friends between Erie, Pa. and Ashtabula, Ohio.Sheriff's deputies went to Erie Thursday morning and found Ramey at a home on Race Street after checking several addresses.Ramey was taken to the Allegheny County Jail, where he will be held without bond.
