United Express Flight 7559 from Pittsburgh to Denver made an emergency landing Thursday morning at Quad City International airport in Moline, Ill.

The plane was heading to Denver when passengers complained of smelling smoke in the cabin shortly before 9 a.m.

The plane landed safely and none of its 67 passengers was injured.

United spokeswoman Robin Urbanski said the landing was precautionary and the pilot made the right decision to do it.

All of the passengers except one -- who stayed behind for lunch -- boarded a United flight from Moline to Denver on Thursday afternoon.
