The flames were so intense, they caused some dangerous problems for firefighters, including a partial roof collapse.

No injuries were reported, but the building is considered a total loss.

The state fire marshal is still investigating the cause of the fire.

The haunted house closed down in 1997. A year ago, the owners sold the building.

Castle Blood moved to Beallsville and is still open.
