She is the pregnant woman who was gunned down on Alpine Street on the Northside last week as she sat inside a car.

Police said someone came out of nearby bushes and started shooting. Wallace died at the scene.

Wallace was a graduate of Schenley High School and had just finished her first year at Indiana University of Pennsylvania where she was a management major.

Loved ones comforted one another as pall bearers placed the casket in the hearse.

“This is where faith comes in. There are many questions we don't understand. Strangely, God out of His love, helps us to get through it,” said, Rev. Loran Mann, pastor.

So far police have not made any arrests.

“Those who know anything about this murder need to speak because there are two victims here, the mother and the unborn child. We cannot let this incident go,” said, Maurice Laurice Vance.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
