Smoke From Manufacturing Plant Fire Fills Streets

Washington County Fire Crews Deem Building Total Loss

A manufacturing plant in Houston ignited Monday evening in Washington County.

A resident in Houston captures home video of a fire that belched thick black smoke from a manufacturing plant nearby.
Home video showed flames burning through Tatano Wire and Steel on East Jackson Street, and heavy smoke filled the streets.

Authorities deemed everything inside the building a total loss.

The state police fire marshal took pictures of the wreckage as the investigation continued.

No injuries were reported.
