A fight inside the AMC Lowes Waterfront theater in West Homestead prompted officers from several different police departments to get involved as a crowd of moviegoers spilled into the parking lot.

WTAE Channel 4 Action News' Jon Greiner reported that witnesses said two girls and a guy got into a fight over a spilled soft drink during the 8:15 p.m. showing of the Beyoncé Knowles movie "Obsessed."

"We were sitting in the front and ran out when everyone else did. It seemed pretty panicked. People were just screaming and running," said Kaitlynd Kruger.

During the fight, someone yelled that there was a gun, and the crowd filtered toward the exits.

Initial reports indicated that a shot was fired, but Greiner reported that was not the case.

"Nobody knew what was going on. People were like, 'Should we go? Should we stay?' Then we all left," said Sara Trower.

Greiner reported no one was seriously injured and a few people were believed to be treated for minor injuries at the scene.
