An 18-year-old from Kennerdale is facing charges in connection with a head-on collision that killed a 19-year-old woman in Butler County.

Christina Marie Williams, of West Sunbury, died in a November car crash on West Sunbury Road/Route 308 in Clay Township.

Several of Williams' co-workers from the Eat 'n Park restaurant at Clearview Mall were in another car. They survived the crash with injuries.

"Everybody here was like family," restaurant employee Edward Dixon said in November. "Last night, we were waiting for her to come up here."

State police charged Robin Charles Brain with 10 counts, including involuntary manslaughter, reckless endangering another person and racing on highways.

Police said Brain and another driver were racing at speeds between 95 and 105 mph and both traveling northbound in the southbound lanes.

A fatal crash in Butler County killed a 19-year-old woman.

Police said at one point Brain cut off the other car's path to avoid a collision and the other car lost control, crashing into Williams' vehicle.

Brain was placed in the Butler County Jail on $75,000 bail.
