    Counselors On Hand For Students At North Star High School

    Family and friends are mourning a Somerset County teenager killed on his way home from a Britney Spears concert at Mellon Arena in Pittsburgh.

    Grief counselors were on hand at North Star High School in Boswell on Monday morning, helping classmates deal with the death of John Blough.

    The 15-year-old Jenner Township boy died Friday night when the car he was riding in was rear-ended by a pickup truck along Route 30 in Ligonier, Westmoreland County.

    On Sunday, friends gathered at the crash site with flowers and signs. Many said they were too upset to speak with Channel 4 Action News.

    Blough, a freshman, was a member of the North Star football team and the junior varsity wrestling team.

    Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Hoffman Funeral Home in Boswell.

    Police are still investigating the fatal crash. No charges have been filed.
